Grammatophyllum bud blast and culture questions
 

Hello,

I am growing a Gramm. elegans (and scriptum var citrinum) by my bedroom windowsill. I've potted it in bark in a terracotta pot. I'm still unsure how to grow this plant. Does anyone have experience growing it indoors? It always seems to want more water, but at the same time not want to be wet.

I have two spikes which have mostly finished growing lengthwise. As the buds started to enlarge, many of them have started to blast. Probably not happy with my watering? Though it is starting to send out a third spike... I'm getting mixed signals from this enormous plant!
