Been waiting on this one for a while! This is definitely my favorite Cattleya cross. I currently have 5 different clones and I'm always looking for more! I can see why the folks at Newman's selected this one. 9 buds!

Lovely.

It is going to be something when all those buds open.

Indeed it will be! But one step at a time:

Can't wait to see it all open

Fragrance on that first bloom really ramped up this afternoon. A couple open flowers should make quite an impression!

I have 3 and love them. My NN has bulbs that are going to bloom any day. Love that bronze color with the dark yellow.

I saw a whole bunch of 'NN' clones recently which were being sold by Waldor at both the Philadelphia Flower Show and the SEPOS show and the color of the flowers was not as rich as mine. I'm sure this is due to differences in lighting but since I'm pretty certain that the Waldor plants flowered under natural sunlight this speaks well of the leds mine flowered under! This is about it, 6 flowers open, but sadly it appears the others are blasting:

Wow, amazing! My Appleblossom is budding right now, I need to get me one of these NNs!

beautiful !

It looks great next to the dark Cymbidium!

I didn't realize how HUGE an Iwanagara can get. There is one in our show with pseudobulbs at least a foot tall. The flower spike is a good three feet.

'NN' seems to be the largest of my clones, but time will tell on that. Would you happen to know the clonal name of that monster?

The label is covered with moss. I'll see whether somebody will look at it. It's not my plant.

Added later... It is an Iwanagara Apple Blossom. The owner doesn't know which clone, and doesn't remember when he got it.
