Got more bloomers, and my fav is still my 6-year-old white Phal hybrid, it got much bigger and keeps growing buds non-stop these last few weeks :bowing :D
I don't remember if it's 6 or 10-year-old (because I got each of those 3 white Phals when my kids were born, and sadly 2 of them fall down during thunder storm and their stems got broken) |
They're amazing! :)
|
Sentimental orchids are always the best kind of orchids. No matter what.

The Eria hyacinthoides gets two more sets of buds :D
https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5537/3...8ecdd7aa_o.jpg And these were 3 days ago: https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5830/2...6d48c03a_o.jpg https://c4.staticflickr.com/6/5324/3...52afa681_o.jpg |
Oh, thats kool that it's still going.
|
I got this Doritis (or Phal) from my mom several years ago, and it grew so big, so I split it into 4 parts.
3 of them bloom, and I gave 1 to my father-in-law. Now here's the trio: https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5455/3...e9fde7a7_o.jpg https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5689/3...d046e665_o.jpg https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5608/3...0a3247a7_o.jpg ---------- Post added at 10:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:41 AM ---------- And this 6-year-old phal is still in bloom after 5 weeks :bowing https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5797/3...71713fc1_o.jpg https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5734/3...9a0f1f90_o.jpg https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5717/3...3efb1e2f_o.jpg |
Good pics and beautiful plants aplenty!
|
Got these trio similar size flowers and orchids bloom at the same time
I should buy tripod for iPhone to get better photos, and remove the hanging wire, too https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5543/3...c2b12860_o.jpg |
This Neofinetia falcata has started to bloom two days ago.
And although this time I used tripod for the iPhone, it seems there's a limit of what iPhone can shoot compared to cameras. I still had difficulties on removing the textures and light reflection on the black background. https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5504/3...cea2b2f5_o.jpg https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5746/3...4afc033a_o.jpg https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5609/3...f27dc4a5_o.jpg |
Very nice! I wonder whether that is a hybrid with Neofinetia falcata, and not the species.
|
I am so sorry but this thread is cracking me up with the "bloomer" heading!

Got a very pleasant surprise yesterday. I noticed that the Bulbophyllum kubahense just started to bloom and not just one, but two spikes!
I'll take more pics again a few days later when they get bigger https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5545/3...d4107d30_o.jpg So while in the mood to setup up the tripod and black veil, I also took pics of Aerides odorata and Den. bracteosum. Yap, I just got a white umbrella and light clamp as well. https://c4.staticflickr.com/6/5817/3...921d127c_o.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5702/3...fc420144_o.jpg https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5547/3...42e81316_o.jpg And then also some other purple flowers, a Den hybrid, two Doritis, and a Doritaenopsis https://c4.staticflickr.com/6/5345/3...f806b9f1_o.jpg https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5766/3...35307e41_o.jpg |
OMG, all gorgeous!!! Love that Bulbo and Dend.
|
So happy seeing this Bulb. kubahense bloom
Well, there were two sets of buds... but only one blooms, while the other one dried up. Nonetheless I didn't expect it to bloom so soon so I'm still very happy  https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/120/30...851209de_o.jpg |

There are still some buds waiting to bloom! Can you count how many?
https://c8.staticflickr.com/1/517/31...9cf62fdb_o.jpg ---------- Post added at 07:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:22 PM ---------- Quote:
To be honest I didn't expect it to bloom this soon. I thought it'll be next year or later. So it is a very nice surprise :) Still waiting for it to bloom perfectly though. |
That's amazing! They resemble some Phals and Vandas. What is the scent? I wonder if they're competing for pollinators.

There's a faint scent, quite neutral one. I only noticed it when I was taking its pic in a closed-room. https://c5.staticflickr.com/1/691/31...068472dc_o.jpg ---------- Post added at 11:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:32 AM ---------- Somehow I missed to take this Dendrobium kingianum's pic last week, and the week before. So there's only one flower left... https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/624/31...6f24cf2b_o.jpg |
All very beautiful. I can only dream of doing so well :)
|
Another 😊 suprise this morning... Colorful and cheerful bloom. Thank You God 🙏🙏🙏 Amen 😇
Single flower Phal bellina https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5500/3...32ea9b56_o.jpg |
Came back from out of town and this one has bloomed :)
Is it Coel. swaniana? https://c6.staticflickr.com/1/764/31...96d84426_o.jpg https://c6.staticflickr.com/1/479/30...7a3017c8_o.jpg |
