Beautiful!!

Thanks WinterGirl!
The pink tepals are unusual as the mother plant (which this division is from) are pure white. Maybe it's cultural? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The color on that one is stunning! Good growing.

I have been known to post a lot of pics of the same flower under different lighting 😎. Here's one in diffuse daylight! The white tepals looks crispier and the lip more bluish purple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
It is a beauty!
|
Still stunning! No matter what light it's in!

Thanks Wintergirl and Rob. I don't grow many cattleya hybrids as I concentrate on species, but this one caught my eye as it looks like a superb form of Laelia purpurata!

Beautiful!! Those have a reputation for producing lots of blooms when they get large. I've found that the blush on the sepals and petals happens in cool weather. In warmer weather it's usually snow white.
|
Great tip Tucker! It has been cooler which explains the blush. Wait till it grows up!
