First Spike!!!
 

I've finally gotten one of my phals to throw out a spike! This is the first time I've ever gotten an orchid to (hopefully) rebloom!

I agree, bil. Once you get your first orchid to bloom the addiction really kicks into high gear. There's no saving you now, EmmaD, from the charms of the orchid. ;)

Hahaha thanks everyone!!!! And yeah I know it's a slippery slope- I went to my very first orchid society meeting on Saturday and came home with a three more orchids! (some bare-root dendrobium nobile canes, a bl. morning glory 'remar', and a sarcochilus hartmanii)

Told you... the road to hell is paved with orchids.

Indeed it never gets boring even though you start getting more and more different kinds and can I get this one to bloom and this one anddddddddddddddddd :roll: Oh it never ends. And then you say NO MORE.................at least for now, as you can not keep up with the water let alone the fertilizing. So take care of the ones you have now..............I wonder when the FedEX truck will be here with my new orchids???? Oh no I was thinking aloud...........:biggrin: yep there on there way. I can't wait :blushing:
