Vandas at the grocery (Kroger)?!
 

My local Kroger had a big display of silver vase Vandas for sale for $36.99. Lots of colors. Maybe I'll go back when the flowers have faded and they are on sale :)

That white one on the left with the ruffled petals looks like a gem. I would snag that.

About a month ago my Kroger had the same offerings. $40 for a NOID - no thanks. I can get a named one from Fuchs for that price.

Yeah I've seen those brand NoIDs for sale at some local stores here in FL as well.

This post is so funny to me because I never heard about Vanda orchids until I went to my local Giant one day. They carried the same NoID's from Silver Vase and I didn't buy any at first because it costs like $50! But when I came back two weeks later they only had 3 left and the florist was killing them by leaving water in the vases. So I rescued 2 and that's how I got hooked on Vanda's :)
