Beautiful eye candy. Always a treat to see them.

They are beautiful!! It looks like you have them all growing outside, is this correct? If so, what conditions do you have to get them to bloom? I have a Vanda Sansal 'Blue Moon' and am not having any luck getting it to produce a spike (it is currently hung outside). What suggestions do you have for a newer Vanda grower?

Hi!

i have a purpose built vanda shade house. It is basically roof only with no walls. 60% black shade cloth on top. This means I get maximum light and cross breeze. Ventilation is extremely important for vandas. At the moment is dry season here so i have cut back watering to 10 minutes a day and fertiliser once per week at 1/2 strength. When dry season ends I'll double water and fertiliser. I should mention that nearly all my vandas are bare rooted or close to.
