Phal tetraspis C1
 

Hi all,
Had this Phal for like 8 years! Moved to a new house, found a new window, and now it's giving me two spikes! Pretty pleased with how it turned out. The other spike is only an inch long, but I'm hoping it will put out at least a couple more flowers.

Such a gorgeous phal! It's been high on my wishlist for a long time, but they're not very easy to find. Is this the first time it's blooming for you?

It is very unique and one of my favourites. I got this 8 years ago when they were first coming out. I was probably one of the first people in my area to have it, but I would've thought it would be more popular and easier to obtain now (unless the fad has passed)? I remember seeing many of these being advertized on ebay.

Gee...moving just became #1 priority to get me some better orchid successes! Must try my luck with this one again...unique and lovely!

My experience with this is that it is an easy bloomer...

Well, moving them to a new house and window definitely did the trick for me! Half my collection is spiking, some for the first time in many years!

There both gorgeous blooms. I love this phal.

I said earlier that I had trouble finding this species... Well talk about luck, my favorite grower has them again, and in bud! I'm ordering tonight! :D
