Fully opened 10/19/2014 and smells heavenly...you can practically drink in the scent! I think our humidity helps make fragrant plants more intense.

I LOVE those flowers!!!
The color on the lip is so vivid.

Where can I buy this one?
Also, are the leaves very narrow like brassavola?
At least it appears to be from what I can tell in the picture. Great!!!

NYC, it's been so long, but I think this was a bag baby from one of the BB stores...at this time, most of mine are. I was buying them years ago, with no real idea what I was doing...the label said Fragrant so I was all over that like a spider monkey - that's one my criteria for baggers! This was the second season for blooming with this plant.

As far as the leaves go, they are on the narrow side, but not like any Brassavola I'm familiar with (which doesn't say much!). And they are flat...measured at 2" wide and 10" long (after Pbulb).

So, after two seasons of success (and y e a r s of waiting!) with the majority of my baggies blooming, I'm hooked!! Impatiently awaiting for my Blc. Gleneyries Green Giant...I feel hopeful that this last one will be a bloomer this season. ;)

Edit: The blooms are almost all spent now, but the little life that's left in them still perfume the air!

Just thought I'd throw this out to show the variations you can get in a complex hybrid. This is my Blc. Ann Morning 'Paradise' that just opened for comparison to the OP's flowers of the same clone.
I'm guessing the petals, sepals and dorsal will bleach out within a short time but I like it like it is now.

Thats a great colour combination.

Very nice patterns KG! That 'bleaching' isn't colour break, right? Just checking! In any case, the colour variation in the tepals are nice and tepals are in good condition.
