Watching this one come along is one of the highlights of my summer.

I know... I should get out more.

Looks good

This plant is just perfect: leaves, roots, buds, flowers and smell. All these in some centimeters :)

I am in complete agreement. The universe managed to pack a giant personality into this tiny plant. :)

Better than 2 weeks, I'd estimate. Can't recall exactly when they dropped. You really can't go wrong with this little elf.

They aren't that easy to find in the US. Europe seems to be hogging most of them.

Ah yes...good things do come in small packages. I can see why you're so excited-I would be too!

Awesome, lovely to see a Madagascar species making it on OB. Well grown, thank you for sharing.

You are right, I live in Germany and areangis are easy to find here :)

Congratulations!

Thanks all!

Cool plant!

smweaver 10-18-2014 04:18 PM

That's a wonderful plant you have. The leaves alone are reason enough to grow it, but the flowers are a bonus. The pictures of the blooms enlarging, along with the tightly curled nectary spur, is especially attractive.

GardenTheater 10-18-2014 09:18 PM

Love those curly nectaries. That would make my summer too. I have a seedling from Andy's. It came with one healthy leaf with small roots. It now now has two leaves and a really cool large warty root. Hope it grows up to look like yours with those wonderful blooms.

Very nice- I love A. punctata. I just got one from Botanica Ltd., and it came to me with a bud. It popped open today and it's so pretty!

iburntrees3o5 10-28-2014 07:38 AM

The buds look just like my Plectrelminthus. Nice!

Tindomul 02-24-2015 12:01 AM

I know all about flower watching. Its addicting. SO is bird watching. Anyway, gorgeous flowers, congrats!

RosieC 06-27-2015 04:07 AM

Really pretty!
