Miltoniopsis Island Peach 'Kalapana Sunrise'
 

It only has 2 blooms but they are quite large and there are many new growths on the plant that I am hoping will bloom in a while. I bought this just over a year ago from Forestview Gardens. It didn't bloom last spring or summer so this is a first bloom. No scent on this one for some reason and it has been open a few days.

Thanks! The largest flower is 4 inches across at it's widest point and there now is a faint scent.

My large yellow one is also just two flowers per stem, but it is really really big!

Ones that opened at my place is smaller tough. oh, well..

Is this one fragrant??

It certainly seems a different colour than any other Milts I have seen. It has a creamy yellow one in its parentage. After a number of days it now has a faint fragrance. More sweet and less spicy than some of them.
