been wanting one of these for a long time, got a small seedling a few years ago. At first I thought it was crown rot, plant to young to bloom, but then it was a spike.



Petals are still growing, first flower only open a week ago. Just a beauty.

Fantastic! If you can keep the humidity up the petals will get nice twists. Easier said than done, I know.

It is fascinating to see how those super long petals unfurl as the bud open up!

To me the petals at first look like frog legs. I saw flower open in afternoon,took picture of first open flower with frog kegs, by next morning they were straight and hanging downwards.

funny! I thought they look like snake tongue. lol
