Masd. angulifera 'J&L'
Back again on OB after another hiatus. It has been so incredibly busy that I haven't had time for anything extra, but hopefully this will be the start of some posts and comments.
This is an exceptionally dark clone of the species awarded an AM/AOS and belonging to the Saltatrices group of Masdevallias. http://u1.ipernity.com/30/52/33/2951...0ae132.100.jpg More pictures of plant and flowers here: Orchids in Bloom: Masdevallia angulifera 'J & L' AM/AOS |
Beautiful as always Ron!
Thanks, my friend.
Beautiful Ron! And wonderful photo as always.
Brings back memories. One of my very first orchids, dark as yours.
Thanks, Vanda and Euplusia.
Awesome!
Thanks, Sonya. Nice to be around again.
Nice color! I love all the different Sections in this Genera. Some are more favored than others, but that's a personal taste thing.
Great plant Ron. |
Neat one, Ron. Welcome back.

How cute, good to have you back.
Thanks, Liana, Kim, and No-Pro. It is indeed a matter of personal choice, but I'm always drawn to the odd and unusual.
HA! "Odd and Unusual"
Many of the Pleurothallids would fit into that category. Its a great type to be interested in. I love my mini Masd., but lately have really fallen for some of the larger species. Did you see the M. regina I posted? She is a beauty! |
I don't have room for the larger species but some of them are spectacular. I'll have to do a search for your M. regina.
What a beauty!!!
Thanks, Tindo. I'll be taking some more pictures later today. It now has about 10 flowers open.
That's really cool. I love how you can see the tiny hairs inside it.
Thanks, Rosie. All the flowers in that section are hairy!
very nice
Thanks, Cyann.
