Dendrobium lamyaiae & peguanum mounted together
:waving
Today's show purchase - I already have one peguanum, but I saw these 2 small cuties together and must have them! D. lamyaiae is named after the fruit treee it is usually growing on, and it is very similar to unicum - however it is known for the blooms much bigger. I am really happy and astonished how big is the bloom in comparison to tiny short stems! Since these 2 have the same care and growing habit I decided to mount them on this nice piece of wood together! |
They look great! I love the color of that wood also!
Many thanks Lilac, I do think they make "perfect match", these 2 Dendros and the slab:-)
Wow those are cool!
OHMYGOSH! Adorable!
Lovely flower; the color is fascinating...and you managed to mount it neatly....just make sure you know which is which when they become large specimens
top and bottom:-) Pics will help later:-)))) I love both of them, have another peguanum so I will see if both of them will bloom in spring:-)
They are beautiful!! great job mounting them I like the wood here it doesn't take away from the plant it enhances the color I think:)
Looking great!
I also have Den. Lamyaiae. bought it in bloom, mounted, back in the summer this year. I was surprised how long the flowers lasted. can't wait for next year's bloom. :) |
beautiful little things and nice piece of wood!
