Blooming Coelogyne South Carolina

Finally after three years the Coelogyne South Carolina has put out two bloom stalks (inflorescences) and I cant wait to see what they will produce. I planted it in bark, sphagnum and a manure compost. Anybody know what I SHOULD have planted it in?:hello

Thank you

You guys are sweet! I'll be putting up a post about my one sweet orchid later. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Miss Myrle, I unfortunately know nothing about Coelogyne orchids, though they look lovely from the quick Google image search I just did. Maybe someone on the other boards can help better :)

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing your orchid.

Myrle, you would get more advice if you posted a separate thread under the Coelogyne section. People who grow them will be noticing your question there better than here in the introductions. Go to Forums and then scroll down and find that section. Click 'New thread' at the top.
