My buddy who took it to the show for me (I hadn't seen it bloom at this point) told me that "when you look up 'red' in the dictionary, there is a picture of this flower". Perhaps there should be.

I found this cross to be a bit ungainly in it's growth habit, but some of the flowers were very nice.

If I ever divide it. In order to mericlone it, I'd need to buy at least 1000 plants. I'd be lucky if I sold 1000 plants in a year, much less all of the same kind. I can't find a lab that will do a run of less than 1000. :)

The picture in Orchids is much better than my meager attempt, for sure.

The cross was named by somebody else. I sometimes use Caroline or Katrina in my clonal names though.
