They are so adorable! The blooms are true to its color and form. I cant beleive this is your very first Paph...I thought you already had so many in your collection.

I love Pinocchio! My favorite Paph, I just regret not buying one when the European market was flooded with them. Now they are impossible to find.

Hi, Bill. I already bought one more. It's a Paph. Michael Koopowitz. I'm looking forward to seeing it in bloom.

Orchidaceae 05-14-2012 04:01 AM

I like sequential bloomers - of all kinds! How tall is the spike?

Susie11 05-14-2012 05:17 AM

Nice one Tucker!

:)

Ooh, I've just bought/ordered one too! It'll arrive by the end of the week I think/hope.

What size is yours? I bought mine in blooming size, which really hurt my wallet. :p

This is a small plant with only one fan and another just starting. The spike is only about 10" tall. These are the first flowers.

Mine is very small. Only one fan right now plus another just starting. It spiked a couple of weeks after I received it.

Beautiful flowers, Tucker. Great job!!!

RosieC 06-13-2012 07:56 AM

Love this orchid, great growing!

bellini girl 06-13-2012 04:27 PM

Seriously cute, good growing. I understand it's a sequential bloomer? gotta get me one

RosieC 06-18-2012 06:21 AM

Lecent, yes it's a sequential bloomer and can keep going for a long time. It's a great orchid if you can find one. Like Camille said they were really popular in Europe a few years back and you could find them everywhere, now no-one is selling them. The nursery's tell my hybrids often go in phases like that :(

camille1585 06-18-2012 07:46 AM

That reminds me that I still have to go visit the dutch nursery that sells it... I'd rather buy in person than online, since their quality is hit or miss.
Otherwise, look what I just found when I put the name through my custom google search: Paphiopedilum PINOCCHIO :: Wilhelm Hennis Orchideen -
