I think this is a Dendro Dawn Maree (Formosum x Cruentum). But please correct me if I'm wrong.

I was there last weekend. It seems like they don't have lots of orchids A couple of phals and thats it. I think they still have that D. Dawn Maree left here. and tons of Paphs.

I'll go there tomorrow and see what they have here. I'm assuming it is the same business. Family owned here in S'toon. Large garden centre with orchids as just a small sideline.

I'm actually headed there this morning, thanks so much for the offer. I really shouldn't be buying another orchid. That's the 'bad' thing about this forum, too many enablers :) My sister is coming from Calgary tomorrow with 4 new orchids from Paramount for me and I need to stop!!! But there is always another one out there calling my name:rofl:

Me too, I have like 30+ now. They're all inside. Anyways. It doesn't hurt to get one more. At least that is what I keep telling to myself when I see one that I like.

By the way, I really like your Patricia. I was supposed to get one for myself but the greenhouses that I'm buying it from don't have one available yet. So I bought other Catts instead. To fill the void...

I went to Dutch Growers this morning and they only had 4 or 5 Phals. But like I said... I don't need anymore!! I have around 100 orchids and my hubby says I am getting so I won't be able to leave them to travel. He has a point :(

I got my Lc. Firedance 'Patricia' from H & R bare root last fall. It struggled as there weren't many roots I almost couldn't wait to cut off the bloom spike when the flowers finished so I could work on saving the plant. but it has finally sent up a new growth and is still holding its own with the other leaves and PB's so I am sure it will be OK. Maybe some day when your Dawn Maree and my Patricia have grown large enough to split, we could swap orchid cuttings.

I'm in for that! They will probably grow at the same time provided I give them proper care. There is one new growth. Maybe after blooming, it'll send some new growths.
