Christensonia vietnamica
 

It is a small vanda-like species. The flowers are 2.5 cm around. Christensonia vietnamica is an easy species to grow outdoors here in Taiwan.

i love it....but then again im a fan of green! good growing!

I have a thing for my Christensonia. It has grown and just bloomed for me for the first time!

I'm in Mexico City intermediate to cold outside. More intermediate indoors.

If anyone can find a "Chris" is a very welcome choice for any of us vandaceous lovers.

It must take many years for this species to grow to such a large plant because Christensonia vietnamica is a slow grower.
Luckily, the species blooms while it is very young.
My plant is about 5" and it blooms regularly.

I have three plants of this species. This year, two plants bloomed already.

LOL I too have several of my favorites like the V.Tessellata. I can't get enough of some.
