This one is a little different, it has already put out 6-7 blooms, but they seem to keep coming. I'm not complaining....

Very nice. How do you grow this one and what temps has it had the last three months?

Well, I'm in central Florida...I guess lately it's been days in the 80's, nights in the 60's. I give it medium filtered light, fertilize 1-2 times a week, and it gets misted twice a day.

Cool. Initially I mistook the petals/sepals as varigated leaves, then realised. It's a really nice one.

I just received this orchid. I am in South Florida and I am wondring if it will tolerate the heat (about 93 degrees most summer days). Where do you keep yours in the hot summer?

Very lovely!

It will handle the heat, as long as it's not in the direct sun. I live in the Tampa area, and I keep it in medium filtered light, in my shadehouse...about the same as most Cattleyas. The heat of the summer sometimes gets my greenhouse around 100 degrees. However, I do have misters that run twice a day on timers, during the summer. They run about 5 minutes in the morning, and 5 minutes in the heat of the day (about 3pm). So I'm sure this helps keep their leaf temps down. They seem to eat it up!
