Hi and welcome. Wow, I didn't realize there's a lot of Kababayan here. I'm originally from Pampanga.

@Aleks: good for the orchids, nasty for us-- sobrang init ngayon dito! Couldn't even finish gardening today. 8am pa lang dizzy na ako, felt like fainting. Must be heat stress...
@starwhiz: I checked out your photo album-- I luuuuv it! @Marissa: My sister-in-law is from Pampanga too. We're originally from Manila, we just transferred here in Angono last year. The weather is lovely here. I never imagined I would enjoy living in this part of the region. It seems like a lot of people are heading east these days. @Kim, Rosie, Angela & Ted: Thank you so much for welcoming me here. :o) |
Yeah...I've been in Canada almost all my life...My first visit there since the age of 6 was last year. Nag tour kami kung saan saan dyan...we visited bohol, boracay, tagaytay, masbate, palawan and more....it was an exhausting trip but really worth it since it was my first visit after all. I know what you mean by hot. But I love hot weather and specially the beach...and the forest arround there. Lotsa places to explore. But i told my fiancee that the next time we visit we would stay only in one or two location. That way I can do more exploring...who know's maybe hunt for wild orchids and take some photographs.

My girl friend is from Binangonan, Rizal. They just recently visited PI and she brought some cymbdiums to her sister who is also collecting orchids. She told me that cymbidiums are a little expensive there and not as common as Dendrobiums and Vandas.
