Cattleya warner
Hi All
Just wanted to share some picss of my Catt warneri. This is the first time I have bloomed her. Her colour got a bit pinker after these photos were taken but I forgot to take a few more shots. Thanks for looking. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-warneri-2.jpg http://www.orchidboard.com/community...tt-warneri.jpg |
Oh she is gorgeous! I can't wait to have a larger growing area to grow the large sized Cattleya's! I'm in love with the purple on the lip! :cloud9:
|
 Love that lip!
|
Very nice blue warneri! Do you know the parentage or clonal name of this one?
|
OOOoooo!! Let me know if you ever have any divisions of this or you other catts.! I like your taste!
|
Thanks for the comments everyone! Sorry I don't have any info on the parentage of this one Steve. It came from Paramount Orchids in Calgary though.

Certainly a graceful-looking plant. I love it. :)

Pretty.
It looks like a small plant but is able to bloom. |
Great photos, wonderful flowers!
|
:D Gorgeous classy catt, Nick.
I got a SS from clouds last summer, looks like it gonna be awhile before it blooms. Congrats on you're first blooms, the first timmers are always a trip. |
Very beautiful blooms, Nick. And it doesn't look like a huge plant either. Do you grow it warm, intermediate or cool? Decent fragrance?

It's gorgeous, love the lip!

Great blue warneri!!! Gorgeus!!
|
What an elegant flower!!!!
|
Thanks for all the comments everyone! She is quite a small plant, only in a 4" square pot, about 8 or 10" high. She's a vigorous grower though having put out 5 new growths this year. Thanks again everyone!!
