Would recommend this vendor
It's nice to hear of problems with e-bay vendors so I thought it would be different to let you know how happy I am with EFG-Orchids.
eBay Store - EFG Orchids: I received this plant last week and as you can see it is in great shape, well grown and with a spike! George was great to work with, packed the plant securely and shipped very quickly. I am ordering again today! Al http://www.orchidboard.com/community...d_from_EFG.JPG |
I haven't ordered from this vendor, but I've been pleased with almots all of my ebay purchases. Thanks Al, I'm going to take a look.

Oooo! Bastianii! Can't wait to see pics of your blooms! I just ordered one from Oak Hill. :)
|
I've ordered from EFG through their ebay site, their regular web site and at orchid shows
E.F.G. Orchids Incorporated They always have nice stuff :D |
EFG has been around longer than most of us put together... They used to be in Villa Park, IL (I rented a rather large bench worth of space from them when I lived there). Nice people. They moved to Florida a few years ago, smart!

Al, I didn't think you'd purchase such a large phal! Good luck and of course a pic when it blooms!

I'm not sure if you said that with "tongue in cheek" but as it is a species phal it won't get much larger. When are you going to jump in and order something on line? Al |

Being orchid deprived in this lost State of Maine I have to use e-bay and direct buys from nurseries or all I would have is BB store Phals. I've only had a couple of bad experiences with e-bay. That's a live and learn world. Al:rofl: |

If you don't have one, start with a P. equestris. If you have one, move up to a P. cornu-cervi. Al |
Well, if you like your cave that much, you can crawl back into it and miss all the beautiful weather....ah the Michigan rain, clouds and cold that goes right through you... see what you'll miss!
|
Don't forget P. violacea and bellini!

That's 'cause you probably dragged the poor thing into that cave of yours! You're as bad as Sue hanging her poor chids out over the pool.... and trying to make us all believe she's giving them swimming lessons

In fact, there was more scale than leaves. I literally scraped it off with a table knife. Al |
Sorry to here that, Al.... but you know they make poisions for those little critters... you don't have to take the kitchen knife to little guy...kinda scary, don't you think... I mean I'd be scared if someone came at me with a knife in hand.....
|
Don't like poisons, but we need to get the thread back on track. I think it's going to make it, surgery and all.
