Wow! What a cutie! I bought the same plant at the Tamiami Orchid show last month in bloom. I love it. I hope I can get it to bloom again! Yours is gorgeous!

Very nice Steve and you are so very right about it getting better as it gets older. I have had my plant for years and it produces three or four spikes every year just in time for Christmas. I have had the alba and red forms before but they don't compare to the spots. Even the scent is not as good. Were it not for the hangers, your plants looks as if it were growing in nature. Nice job.
I also have a large plant of Rhyncostylis coelestis that has not bloomed in two years. It usually blooms in late spring or early summer so I think I will hang it outside in a couple of weeks and let Mother Nataure do her thing and maybe it will bloom. |
