I'm not an orchid lover yet... but I've always been attracted to them and now I'm breaking into vivariums and would like to take the opportunity to combine those interests. Nice to meet you all!

I do have one orchid... I actually posted a thread in the ID section because I have no idea what it is and once I find out I can decide whether or not it's a candidate for my upcoming vivarium. With that said, I do have plans to buy more :biggrin:.

I did see your other post but can't really say what it might be.

Hi Marina!! Welcome to the OB!! Everyone on here will have you buying more orchids than you can shake a stick at!!! I had one lonely orchid when I first joined and now I have 13!! Susanne is soooo right, this board is just full of enablers!! I am even trying to get some people at work to buy orchids and join the Orchid Board!!

You should see it... I've already compiled a list of vivarium appropriate orchids that I want :shock:.

I can hear my debit card weaping from across the room....

What get's me is the "Orchids Blooming Now" area... My "want list" always expands when I venture over there!
