Is there a Phal Mini Mark hybrid
 

I have a Mini Mark Holmes but was wondering if anyone knows of a hybrid using the Mini Mark.

I was doing a Google search earlier today, seeing which vendor currently had Phal Mini Mark Holmes in stock when I remember I coming across this flask offering for Phal. Mini Mark X Phal. schilleriana - Flask (20 Plants) $45.00 for a Mini Mark cross. As in the vendor section before ordering to see if anybody done prior business with this vendor.

There are currently 3 registered hybrids made with Phal. Mini Mark. No doubt there are others in the works, waiting to be released on the world. :evil:

Phalaenopsis Brecko Miniman (Phalaenopsis Mini Mark x Phalaenopsis mannii), reg. 1996

Peter Lin of Big Leaf Orchids has Phalaenopsis Tricki Woo listed as one he has/had in stock but to few to list. Drop him a note to see if he might have one left somewhere in his extensive collection he might want to part with. I also noticed he has quite a few listed with P. Mini Mark as a parent.

He was kind enough to find a phal I had been looking for last week. It arrived Thursday and is in great condition.

I didn't see the other two on his list but doesn't mean he doesn't have them. He has over 2,000 phals.:drool:

Please let us know whet he has to say, I'd be interested too.

WOW!! The response and interest in this question is amazing. I just love the coloring of Phal Mini Mark and was wondering if someone had made a hybrid,I see that someone has, now comes the hard fun part, finding someone that has one for sale.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...Peter Lin responded to my email, but he doesn't have any Mini Mark hybrids in stock :_( He said these hybrids have not been propagated recently by hybridizers. I guess we'll just have to wait :tapfoot: :bua:

My Mini Mark's blossoms are fading, but I have a P. Sogo Charm just opening, could I pollinate the Mini Mark with the Sogo Charm? Or vice-versa........
