Phal Beauty
 

This is a phal that I just picked up because the color pattern was just too much for me to resist! I know we've all been there....done that. And I'm trying to take this orchid fasination in other directions with other genera....not too successful today. Anyway, it is a NOID that for now I'm calling Phal Memoria Leon after my dad who tried sooooo hard to grow orchids and had such a hard time of it and he lived in sunny Florida (Stuart). So not that I'll have much success making an ID for now it stands as Phal Memoria Leon.....it looks like there may be some Leopard Prince with a yellow cross?????

That is an absolutely gorgeous phal, Doc! I can understand that you weren't able to resist. I'm sure your Dad is looking down and admiring it! :)

Ah, the perfect time, quiet and peaceful. In a month or so I'll be able to sit on the deck and hear the forest come to life and see the sky lighten with the rising sun. Gets me through the day........
