Stunning flowers! The lips are beautiful.
|
Agreed. Stunning. Well done
|
Super elegant and wonderful colours. Having them all next to each other is really great too.
Need to get onto the guy or girl that did the painting though. Some of the paintwork got stuck onto the left petal. click here - kidding only of course!! |
That dowiana lip is just sooooo dominant, isn't it?
Those are fabulous. |
These are very nice! My Kienastiana is identical to yours, bought from the same source. A very thirsty plant in general. I also have 3 Fabias but still waiting on blooms.
Maggie Raphael (trianae x dowiana aurea) is in bloom right now, you should check out this cross if you like sweet lemony fragrance. Did you import them in Canada from Poland? |
Both awesome, the fragrance of the labiata cross sounds wonderful. Love how the colors really pop out in the outdoor pics.

Wow orchid garden has some interesting cattleyas!!
|
Those are great-looking blooms on both plants. Too bad about the slight musky smell to the one, but Cattleya dowiana sure does some great things with its hybrids. Congratulations on your flowers--and for having the patience to grow them from seedlings for the past four years.
