Not getting email notifications
 

I was having the same problem recently with all of my subscribed threads. For some reason it corrected itself. I dunno.....

Hm... that's a weird one...I thought it happened to only one person. I'll dig on the server on what's going on. Tindo, let me know if you get notification about this thread...you didn't press "unsubscribe from all" did you?

Marty...I too am in the same boat as Kiki...no thread e-mail notices for me either :(

Marty, I have the same problem. I have realized that I get e-mail notifications if I am loged in, but if not I do not get notification for most of the threads!

Same for me! I'm glad I'm not going crazy and it's not just me! :biggrin:

I was going crazy a month ago when it was happening to me. At first I was thinking "that's weird, OB is really calm today!" The problem seemed to have fixed itself after a week or so. Strange

Camille, that's exactly what I was thinking! I thought that it was really slow on the board or something so i wasn't checking all the posts very often the last couple days. Now I really have a lot of catching up to do! :biggrin:

Guess I'm one that doesn't have that problem with slowness? :evil: :biggrin: Oh! I know! I have e-mail notification turned off. Wonder if that's the culprit? :hmm

I'm getting notified... this is weird because if it was the server fault it would either be all or nothing. I've got the hosting company on the case now investigating

One thing that I have noticed just recently is that sometimes (not always) the thread notifications are getting picked up as spam by my email server. Not all of them, just some, but I was surprised because I had never seen them flagged as such before. Just a thought... if email filters have made a change that is picking up thread notification, it could explain losing some.

I am getting notified again now...hopefully the glitch or gremlin or whatever it was is fixed...

Some ISPs mark mail that they think is spam and you never see it. I use a "white" list on both server and my inbox to prevent this from occurring for those sites I trust (like this one). Something to look into.
