Black pearl and Black magic newly acquired
 

Hello All,

After not buying an orchid for nearly a year , my dear husband bought me three two of which are black pearl and black magic.

I know how to take care of them but I'm disappointed they don't have a fragrance. As per the eBay listing not all of them are which surprised me.

They seem to be a good buy but I am still upset they don't have the fragrance.

The seller offered me a special buy for the sunset valley orchid but I Declined.

This is the sunset valley orchid at a discounted price since it aborted some blooms. Apparently this one is fragrant?

Try smelling these during the day when the plants are exposed to bright sun. I think you'll find them to be pleasantly scented.

Ok I will try once the blooms are opened. But the EBay seller clearly said these aren't fragrant.

Only the other one he offered me at a discounted price.

What a wonderful gift! They should be just lovely when they bloom! I hope that they are fragrant so you can enjoy a nice fragrance along with the beautiful flowers! :)

He magic does have a smell , smells peppery menthol

The fragrance sounds rather perfect for the name of the orchid! :)
