The other day, we where watering in the greenhouse and saw this little guy blooming like mad. We have four of these, all divisions of the same original plants. This is the biggest ball. This one is about the size of a softball, the others are about the size of lemons. Started, six years ago, with five small individual plants that we hooked together with wire. This one is about two years old now. We just drop them in a bucket of RO water once a week for about a hour and hang them back up. Pretty easy as long as you give them low mineral water and afternoon shade.

Great display! You have a clone with really beautiful flowers.

Very nice. I'll be damned if I can get mine to flower.......

High light all year. Vanda light or higher. But don't let it get too hot and burn.

Have fallen head over heels for tillandsia's.

My climate is just so perfect for them.

Beautiful image!

Their not so common in Australia.

Upon reading your reply I relocated my ionantha to a much brighter spot. I thank you sir, and completely forgive you for getting me with your little April Fools joke!
