I think it definitely has tetragonum thrown in there with its dominant bulb shape slightly four angled, and the small flower count, and star flower shape and wide flat lip, plus the spotted edges on the petals. I've pencilled it in for now as an example of Dendrobium 'Jamie Upton' being D. Tetragonum x Golden Fleck (d gracilicaule var. howeanum x D. fleckeri), because of the colour mostly, being from Fleckeri. But, I'm not convinced because of the low flower count. Pretty little thing! |
Very pretty. Thanks for sharing. May I say that as a beginner, I appreciate when folks post a picture of the whole plant as well as the blooms, as you did. It really helps me to understand what the orchid is supposed to look like and how the blooms come from the plant. That bloom is very sweet!
