Sedirea subparishii
This is the second year I have been able to coax this one into bloom. It is fragrant during the day.

I like it. It is amazing to see how variable this cross can be. How well does it grow for you? Anything special you do for culture?

JPMC - not to worry, you were right, it is a soecies, one of only two in the genus. It's nice to see someone actually growing it, not many people are aware of the species. Congratulations on getting it to bloom. Do you remember who you bought it from?

Thanks for the information. When it tried looking it up I must have been getting the wrong orchid.

Very cool, Jay! You've got great taste in orchids.

Wow, very nice. What a beauty.

For those who are not aware...
As far as I know, and according to his website, Dwayne from Dowery Orchids is no longer selling orchids. He's just operating his farm now. |
