Repotting rescue/recovering orchid - Do I maintain the high humidity?

I have higher humidity levels in my rescue environment vs my normal growing environment.

My question is do I need to maintain the level of humidity when I come to potting up?

Abit of background
My newly purchased Den-Phal lost all its roots and is recovering. It is placed on top of some moist LECA enclosed in a vented humidity dome under indoor lights. Depending on the day, the Temp and RH ranges are:-

• Temp: 70-74F
• Humidity Dome RH: 75-93%
• My Normal Room RH: 35-55%

After 1.5 mths, the new roots are 2cm long and I was thinking it is the right time to pot it up in its S/H “forever home”.

What would you do?

Would you try and maintain a humidity range between 75-93% whilst it is still recovering/establishing in S/H (i.e put it back in the humidity dome) OR leave it out without the dome?

I was thinking to leave it on, so as not to change its environment too much and to get it through the winter period.

There will be a time when I eventually have to remove the dome - when it has established or when I starts to spike or outgrown the dome.

Whether I do it now or later, either way, the orchid will go through a stress period. What would the experienced growers do?

If the plant has a questionable root system, it has no way to take up water. At the same time, however, it can still lose water through transpiration. If that is too rapid, the plant will become desiccated, and start shutting down its process and die.

By maintaining high humidity around the plant, it slows the moisture loss, giving the plant more time to grow new roots and recover.
