It depends on how fast the roots dry how often they need watered. If the newer roots turn green right away, you are watering often enough. If they take a long time to turn green, you need to water more often. At least, that is how I know to water my mounted orchids and the ones in red lava rock....)

If they're tiny, they need an incubator. They don't need to be as wet as a salamander but they shouldn't dry out. Get a transparent take-out food container. Put a wet paper towel in there. No standing water. Set the tiny bare-root plants on that. Every day, take them out, rinse the tiny plants and the container under the faucet, and replace the paper towel with a new one.

As soon as you can, pot them up in fine bark or damp long-fiber sphagnum moss. If you have living sphagnum moss that is even better.

There is a great post here by Fairorchids about how he grows seedlings out of flask. This is effectively what you're doing:
Buy flask to sell?
