Default Angraecum sesquipedale Basket or Mount

Good Day,
I just picked up 2 Angraecum sesquipedale in 2" pots and cannot decide whether to grow in baskets or on mounts. I live in SW Florida and plants will live on lanai, facing south or west. I am open to all suggestions and thanks in advance

Mine seem happiest with quite wet roots.

I think I'd suggest basket - where I saw them growing in Madagascar, it was in leaf litter on the ground - I 'm sure there are areas where it is wet enough to grow on trees, but clearly they do like moisture. (Madagascar, in the part where they grow is WET, even in so-called "dry season")

Realize these become very large plants.

Depends on the variety. Some do... fortunately mine have stayed modest-sized. But you're right, one does need to be prepared to host a beast...Fortunately, in SW Florida these should grow outside with no problem, saving greenhouse space. (I grow mine outside except when it's winter and they're in bud, and coastal southern California is cooler than southern Florida)
