I've tried a half teaspoon of sugar to about a cup and half of warm water, let cool and then let plant's roots soak for 30-60 mins. (probably the same amount of honey to water ratio.)

Kick started dehydrated plants that were stuck in the mail for 3.5 weeks. Next month the paphs put about half an inch on leaf size, up 2.5 from 2 inches originally.
