...after blooming i decided to repot my Epidendrum lacustre purple...was very surprised it had purple roots, also...

Cool! And also makes it reeeeally easy to tell the dead roots from the live ones, by the looks of it!
My only problem with it is that it reminds me way too much of the coleslaw salad that comes in those Costco pulled pork sandwiches. Hungry now.

Those are some healthy roots on a robust looking plant. Good growing.

I would not have expected so much purple color in roots not exposed to light.

Very interesting. The roots actually remind me of sweet potato shoots that start in a dark area of the pantry, before you have time to cook them. What was it potted in originally? You seem to have un-potted it with very little damage to the roots. Good job!
