Neomoorea wallisii repotting help needed
I found a small snail hanging out on my neomoorea wallisii and decided to repot. My plan was just to dump old media, clean the roots up and put the plant back in the same pot. However, when I pulled the plant out, I found an old rotting p-bulb down in the media and the remnants of what looks like a second, long ago rotted p-bulb nearby.
The newest plant growth seems to be coming from this rotted p-bulb mass. If I cut the nearly decayed bulb out, this little growth will come with it. It has new roots so I don't want to lose it.

More Pictures
I wish I had a way to edit the photos to make the old rotted bulb show up better. It's literally in the dead center of this image. Almost looks like blonde hair...
The first p-bulb that was dead I already cut away, it was pretty easy and the bulb had a hole in it so it had to go.

I don't have this plant, but I have its relative Peristeria elata. In the second photo you posted, you could cut off all the old, dead pseudobulb plus the roots attached to it. The new growth is just forming roots so it should take off growing. Use a medium that is very airy but retains moisture. I can't see the other part of the plant well, but treat it similarly. Give it as much humidity as you can as it gets established.

Thanks estacion! Peristeria elata is my dream orchid. I would love to have one. Its good to know it is related to Neomoorea...if I am successful with the plant I have, maybe eventually I'll get my hands on a Peristeria!
My Neomoorea is in a 4" pot with new fir bark/perlite/charcoal mix like all my other orchids. From what I've read, they prefer mostly shade and damp conditions. I've been keeping it in my indoor "greenhouse" where temperatures are normally around 80 degrees with a fan and 40-60% humidity. I up the humidity to 70% by spraying down the walls of the greenhouse a few times a day. When the lights and fan go off, the humidity goes up. The new roots forming were not there when I bought the plant at the end of April so I hope that means its happy. Its companions are a bunch of phals, a macodes petola and two masdevallias.
