Yes...the wait.
I'm not sure how long it will take. I've read 10 wks but I think it all depends on the genera.

This one's missing from the glossary...Full water culture.
I think now it's too late for that. It would disturb the process. What I will do is to remove carefully some of the medium from around the pbulbs, in two of the pots, 'cause they seem to be too buried. With the humidity levels we have now here I'm not concerned with rot but it might create additional difficulties for the new shoots to rise to the surface.

Another alternative would be to do what I did for my Stan's - get yourself some 1cm^2 chicken wire from your local hardware store, cut a circle and a long rectangle, and bend the spiky bits around each other to form something like this:
Takes about 45 minutes per basket.

Great idea for baskets and they actually look nice. I can just imagine a beautiful orchid in there.

Update (one month after potting):
The zigopetalum...can you see the green? The smaller green?
...a closer look
...and the oncidium keeps growing...
About the Xylobium, Stanhopea and the second oncidium...no news yet.

You meant Oncidium 2, I think.
It looks like it's done, but there are still some shades of green...who knows?
