Cool Piece of Vanilla

I got a 12 inch piece of Vanilla at a plant festival last weekend.
I've continued to let it "dry out" since I got it.

I'm ready to pot it if it's been "dried out" long enough.
I need some ideas about how best to pot it.

It's got 2 leaves on it but one is down at the bottom.
The leaves are 5 inches long, if that helps ID'ing it, or just getting it to root.

Thanks WhiteRabbit...

I do have a question to add, if anyone can help.
I guess the big question to start...
When I wrap the bottom end in moss, should I do it so only the bottom "knuckle" is covered, or do I need to/should I go up and cover the 2nd "knuckle" too?

I seem to recall, in your first thread showing this plus the Dendrobium canes, somebody gave detailed advice for growing the Vanilla.
