Had a good look at the bark and it is rock hard. It will last 2 more years no worries.
It can also be clearly seen that there is heaps of room for the roots to grow. Found this out by carefully up ended a couple of pots to have a good look at the roots.
Have had to repot some of the orchids as they have grown out the medium and the roots have become very weakened in the way they can hold the plant firmly in place. It looks like the growing roots have pushed the plant upwards out of the pot. Most of the plants have done this and are very strong but about 6 are not right as I have described. Only one looks to be in danger. Fungus damage can not be seen. If anything the roots in question look dry.
