I have always repotted as soon as possible. Some seemed unnecessary but it gives me peace of mind to check the root conditions and not go mental over what creepy crawlies might be inside. Worse what it might do when it crawls outside. I think the plants will appreciate it in the long run.

Better by far to repot unnecessarily than lose a plant, and better to lose flowers than the plant too.
