Does anyone know of a good website with a wide variety of orchid pots?
I'm looking for clay pots with holes all over. Cant seem to find a website that sells them.

Green Barn Orchid Supplies has the clay pots with holes all over them. I just ordered several as I think they are really cool looking and I tend to overwater, so the extra circulation is good. They are made in Viet Nam (if I recall correctly) and are not as sturdy as the usual clay orchid pots with the slits at the bottom. They were well packed and in my order one was broken (but it was shipped from Florida to Hawaii, so I was not surprised).

Due to the weight of the clay pots, you're going to pay a good deal for shipping. Why not just make some yourself?

A good masonry bit can make fairly quick work of it and you can put as many holes as you want all over. The hardest part is securing the pot while drilling.

My husband has done several for me and they came out great.

I'm with Katrina on this.

Just think of all the extra pots you could buy locally with what you'd save on shipping drilling the holes yourself.

Be a fun project for a lazy afternoon.

Is it easy to drill in clay pots? I want to do it but I am scared to I should look up videos on YouTube.

I make my own plastic pots with food storage containers from the dollar store. I still holes and they are good to go. The lids are trays .

Diy pots are the only way to go.

The trick to drilling terracotta is twofold. #1 keep the area being drilled wet. #2 very light pressure. Let the weight of the drill do the work. Get in the mindset of someone getting paid by the hour and not by how much work you actually accomplish!

I've had good luck in the past with enlarging the drain hole in the bottom of a standard clay pot with a rat-tailed rasp. This should work for enlarging holes drilled in the side of the pot as well. Just be aware that the side of a standard pot is thinner than the bottom. Be gentle.

If you are looking for display pots, I usually have a few in my Etsy shop and will make custom pots to achieve requested colors and sizes. I'd really like to know what types, shapes or sizes of display pots are hard to find. Maybe I could make them.
