Ooh, that is beautiful! I love the pansy blooms and mine smells very nice. One day I may try a different one, with a name. I hate accordion leaves too. Here are the few I've managed to grow. Ugly but few.

I don't remember my earlier ones to have had a fragrance. I can only hope
I swore off miltonopsis for about seven years, but finally they wore me down, because those faces are so pretty.
I always felt a unsaid 'You forgot to water me, two years ago...I remember' every time I saw a pleated leaf. I admit, I had a turbulent time there..maybe I'm more stable now.

Mine is in a clear plastic slotted pot, also from repot me. I like clay pots for thicker rooted plants like phals and vanda where the roots are easier to remove without tearing them. I wouldn't use clay for a milt unless it was potted in shagnum maybe to help them from attaching to the pot.

After all that...guess what I repotted my milt in? Yes, a clay pot, because I got caught with my pants down (no clear pots in the size required), and that was the only decent thing at Wal-Mart, after my emergency repotting. Remind me to bring a hammer to my next repotting (sigh).

Ive decided to go with a clear plastic pot mostly because of roots attaching to the pot. I just need to buy a pot now. Think I'll try Rays or Repot me.

I'm going to buy another Miltoniopsis that I've found on eBay. It's just gorgeous, an Andrea West, yellow bloom with a pink blush.

I don't want to use a hammer.

I didn't want to use a hammer either...but when I had the roots all picked clean of moss, I had no pots that would fit, so did the best I could do

That's a lovely pale yellow and will light up a room while in bloom.
