now my question is, if i leave it in here and grow it in this medium will fertilizer kill this moss? and what type of moss is this? we have an abundance of moss out here in the PNW. i think it's awesome that i can get roots to grow!

Paphs do very well with frequent, very low EC feedings, and that would be good for the moss, as well. I feed mine at 25 ppm N (divide 2 by the %N on the fertilizer label for teaspoons per gallon).
