Sumisoil
Has anyone here used a product called Sumisoil on their orchids? I found it in a Lee Valley cataloge.... it basically looks like very small sized hydroton (about the size of black pepper seeds).
I bought a bag to try out thinking that some of the more terrestrial orchids might like it over normal semi-hydro with larger sizes of LECA. Currently experimenting with a Paph bellatulum that has always looked just on the wrong side of parched in the hydroton that I've been growing it in. Hopefully I haven't just killed it.
