Default Trader Joe's mix.

Does anyone know the name of the soil less mix they use for alot of orchids from Trader Joe's? The stuff that looks like soil?
Or something similar?
It's working out great for alot of my orchids and I would love to repot into it.

While some commercial growers are able to grow Orchids in Promix, it is tricky to get watering right in that material.

I immediately repot into granular (or moss/granular) mix.

Unfortunately I kill a lot of orchids in normal mix.
As an experiment I tried using this stuff and it's working out wonderfully.
It suits my watering schedule perfectly.

It would be huh.....
I never thought of it... I avoid it because in my head it's a poor choice for potting media.
But since I'm doing so well with the promix...

My zygo's and intergenerics do much better in it for me than traditional mixes.
