Vascostylis

I have a few vanda type orchids, all but one are in glass containers and are doing well. My vascostylis had a really big root system and I didn't have a glass container so put it in a dark pot with no media. It seems fine, but I was wondering if it will be better in glass?

If it's been in that pot for a while and has been doing fine, I would think there's no need to change anything other than for personal preference ...

Hopefully other members with more experience with these, and growing in vases, etc, will chime in!

I'd leave it as is. If you don't like the look of plastic, just conceal it inside a decorative pot.

Is it bare root? If it isn't, I would be concerned that it wouldn't dry very quickly. If it is bare root, it should be just fine. You could always put it in something different when you find something you like.
