Removing a dendrobium from a Coconut Mount

I painstakingly had to pull it off in strips. It was so decomposed that no tools were needed for the job. Most of the roots were surviving.

After I finished picking at all of the embedded material. I ran it under the sink for about five minutes rinsing off all residue.

The happy phal type dendrobium in his new home. I watered the pot with a couple of added drops of Liquid Karma and SuperThrive.
